On Saturday, May 17, 2025, Cardiff Central Library will transform into a center of Ukrainian culture, hosting a grand celebration of Vyshyvanka Day. Event organizers Yuliia Bond and Nick Wysoczanskyj invite everyone interested to join in the preparation and participation of this festive occasion.

The event will span all four floors of the library, creating space for various cultural activities: musical performances, dances, masterclasses, workshops, conversation corners, and exhibitions. The aim of the event is not only to celebrate Vyshyvanka Day but also to unite the Ukrainian community from different parts of Wales, including Cardiff, Caerphilly, Chepstow, and Swansea.

The organizers encourage creative and initiative-taking Ukrainians to join in planning the celebration. Currently, they are forming a list of participants, coordinating ideas and formats, and planning the placement of activities throughout the library space.

Anyone interested in collaborating or participating in the event can contact the organizers personally. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a joint initiative that will showcase the richness of Ukrainian culture to the residents of Wales.
