A charity golf tournament supporting Ukraine will take place at The Gower Golf Club on Friday, June 27th, offering participants a chance to enjoy a day of sport while contributing to humanitarian efforts. The event, organized by Voice of Ukraine Wales in partnership with The Gower Golf Club, aims to raise funds for vital medical supplies for Ukraine.
Golf Tournament Details
The fundraising event will run from 9am to 2pm, with teams of four competing in a “Best 2 Scores” format across the picturesque course. Participants can book tee times throughout the day, with different pricing options available:
- £15 for club members
- £40 for visitors
All proceeds from the event will be directed toward purchasing medical supplies for Ukraine, continuing the Welsh community’s support for the country during the ongoing conflict.
Ukrainian Cultural Experience
Beyond the golfing competition, the event will feature elements of Ukrainian culture to create a unique experience for all attendees. Ukrainian dancers will perform traditional dances, and attendees will have the opportunity to sample authentic Ukrainian cakes and pastries.
