Ukrainians residing in the UK under the Ukraine Scheme will have an opportunity to learn about extending their residency permits during a free online seminar this week. The event, organized by Settled and Face.Work Ukraine, will take place on March 13th from 6 PM to 8 PM.
Immigration consultant Yuliia Ismail will lead the session, providing participants with the latest updates and step-by-step instructions on the Ukraine Permission Extension (UPE) process. The seminar aims to help Ukrainian nationals navigate the sometimes complex procedures for extending their stay in the United Kingdom.
Topics to be covered during the two-hour session include eligibility requirements for the Ukraine Permission Extension, necessary documentation, application procedures, and common mistakes to avoid. Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions directly to the immigration advisor.
The online format makes the seminar accessible to Ukrainians throughout the UK. Those interested in attending must register in advance through Eventbrite at https://bit.ly/3FjJCI3. Registered participants will receive a Microsoft Teams meeting link via email on March 12th, one day before the event.
This initiative comes as many Ukrainians who arrived in the UK under various Ukraine Schemes approach the end of their initial permission periods and need to understand their options for remaining in the country.
The organizers emphasize that in just one session, participants will gain valuable knowledge and practical advice to successfully navigate the permit extension process, potentially saving them time, money, and stress.
