The “Golden Time” club is set to reconvene this Friday, August 1st, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Ukrainian Hub in Cardiff. Despite the summer break, the organizers emphasize that doesn’t mean stopping – members continue to meet, learn, engage, and importantly, laugh together.

The Friday program will feature a diverse range of activities designed for the Ukrainian community. Participants can expect an English language lesson with a native speaker and professional psychologist Jane, who will help attendees better understand how to present themselves in English, even if they’ve forgotten where they left their tea.

The session will also include light physical exercises and bocce ball games, providing an excellent opportunity to stretch both body and mind with fellow Cardiff community members. The gathering promises warm conversations over tea, biscuits, jokes, life stories, and simply pleasant company, as organizers note that the atmosphere is always welcoming and filled with love.

For those with a musical inclination, the afternoon will conclude with a jazz dessert. After the main activities, participants can enjoy a jazz concert at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama – described as a wonderful way to end the day in good company with beautiful music.

The “Golden Time” team welcomes both regular attendees and newcomers, with special encouragement for those who are particularly eager to participate. The club continues to provide a supportive community space for Ukrainians in Cardiff to connect and engage in meaningful activities.
