The Wales Refugee and Asylum Seekers Advocacy Forum is hosting an Immigration Advice session on Tuesday, September 30th, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM. The forum will be dedicated to supporting refugees and asylum seekers with immigration matters, providing general access to services and addressing challenges faced by people with various legal statuses or immigration categories.
The event will be led by the organization Asylum Justice and Law Works, with guest speaker Yulia Ismail from Settled, who will provide support for Ukrainians under the Ukraine Scheme. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions regarding UPE extensions and 24-month visa extensions, with Yulia providing responses within available information limits.
DPIA is organizing the forum in a mixed format, allowing participants to attend either in person or online. The in-person session will take place at DPIA’s Cardiff office located at Hastings House, Fitzalan Place, CF24 0BL. Participants are welcome to arrive slightly earlier from 2:30 PM for refreshments and informal networking.
