The Ukrainian community in Wales continues to develop cultural initiatives and invites all literature lovers to a Book Club meeting, which will take place on April 5, 2025.
Event Program
The organizers have prepared a rich program that will allow participants to share their literary preferences and discover new interesting books:
- Book speed dating – each participant will have 3 minutes to talk about a book of their choice
- Introduction to the online library – representatives from Caerphilly Library will explain available electronic resources
- Meeting with Ukrainian library ambassadors – Olena and Anastasiia from the Ukrainian library in Cardiff will share their experience in building book collections
- Book sharing – opportunity to exchange books with other participants (optional)
- Planning future meetings – joint decision on the next book for discussion and determining the meeting schedule
